Firm founder Terri A. Georgen is Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification and has extensive experience and expertise advising her clients in the areas of Chapter 7 liquidation cases, Chapter 11 reorganization cases, Chapter 13 rehabilitation cases, consumer and real estate loan documentation, collection matters, foreclosure of security agreements, work-out agreements, deed in lieu agreements, real estate foreclosures, personal property foreclosures, and replevin actions. Ms. Georgen has served as a bankruptcy trustee and also advises clients regarding all pre-judgment and post-judgment remedies, as well as the enforcement of foreign debts.

Her firm stresses a balance of aggressive representation with recognition of the economic interests and concerns of clients. Toward that goal, the firm often achieves prompt resolution of cases through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), routinely settling legal disputes by means other than traditional litigation. The firm has successfully represented clients in mediation, arbitration, and early neutral evaluation proceedings. When early resolution is not feasible or contrary to our clients' interests, the firm is prepared to aggressively litigate collection, judgment enforcement, and other cases through trial and appeal, if necessary.
